Help! What happened to the AC power throughout my boat? The pros at Affinity Marine were able to find and repair the source of my AC power distribution problems on my boat, and even went the extra mile to test my galvanic isolator. They showed me the isolator was not working. This explained why I was having issues with frequent anode replacement and some underwater metal corrosion. Recently had a new MFD chartplotter custom installed on my boat and Affinity went the extra mile to create a custom bezel to adapt the opening from the old MFD to the new one. The result looks like a factory direct installation - it looks great! They also updated the software and tested all the connected electronics and updated all the software and charts. I have been trying to connect my boat's televisions to the harbor Wi-Fi for watching my favorite Netflix series. Affinity Marine Electronics came to the rescue! After contacting them, they provided a rapid response and quickly assessed the situation. They provided an estimate to install a Wi-Fi repeater, and before I knew it, the installation was done! After asking our boat yard to service our batteries over the winter and test them before launch, we ran into trouble when trying to start the starboard engine and there was no parallel switch. We called Affinity and they quickly arrived with a state-of-the-art charging system and battery tester. They tested all of our battery banks, including the bow thruster batteries which were buried in another compartment. The tester they used even sent me an email showing the status of the charging systems and each battery bank - truly impressive!
After testing, they found that our starter batteries were both bad, our bow thruster batteries were dangerously close to being bad, and our house batteries had another season in them. I wish we would have done this level of testing before having a boat load of friends on hand waiting to go boating.
